Belated Birthday Post

If there's one thing I am good at, it would be procrastinating. 

Anyhow, shopping at Vivo with darling was fruitful on Friday, I bought a purple Panasonic camera and a pair of pretty wedges!  And for the first time, I stayed over at hall on a Friday night cos I have a project on Sat!

Another Panasonic adding to my collection! My third camera so far. Lol.

What's next?

Will put this chio purple camera to good use with my nie girls next week! Hee.

This entry is long overdued and I almost forget about it!

Boyfriend told me, 我等到花儿也谢了. Lol. Good pun!

On my actual birthday, 20 sept 2009 (20.09.2009 - such a nice date), we went out for a simple dinner.

We decided against buffets and what nots, cos we were both small eaters. I decided to go somewhere we both have not gone before.   

Boyfriend picked me up at 5pm cos I warned him we may get lost (after looking at reviews), though it was relatively near my place. Lol. Decided to put the roses he bought me to good use! Hee.

Any idea where this place is? Hee.

I was quite surprised we managed to find this place more easily than we thought. Thanks to boyfriend's good navigation skills!

Parking is free and is based on first come first serve basis. Apparently, it was only 5.30 pm when we reached!

It is an uber u-lu place and driving is the best or rather only option. I don't even think taxi drivers know such places exist! Lol. Anyhow, I really like alfresco dining!

Blogging about this now, makes me real hungry! Sharks.

The spicy buffalo wings are boomz (lol). It's a must try! There are 20 levels in total. So if you are fan of chilli, you can go for higher levels. We tried half a dozen of spicy buffalo wings, Level 2, and we had to get 2 jugs of ice water! LOL. I wouldn't encourage you to go higher than Level 3 if you are not a fan of chilli, cos it's really really spicy. Half a dozen of buffalo wings costs us $12!

Verdict?

Food: 6.5/10

Ambience: 8/10

Price: 7/10 (Not exactly friendly on your pocket)

But well, I still would go there again to chill out with friends in the evenings. If you are lucky, you may even see the sun setting!

After our early dinner, we went for a stroll. A perfect excuse to cam-whore too! Ha.

How often do you see a plane within your reach? Lol.

Anyhow, we are not allowed to sit on the plane! HA. We were happily sitting on the wings of the plane, cam-whoring for 15 minutes, when we heard someone talking over the PA system telling us to get off. LOL.

The two ang-moh kids are so cute!! Their dad took a photo of us together. Hee.

Off to Changi Airport.

As usual, the Changi Airport is our frequent hangout when we have no place to go. Haha.

Trying out chocolate fondue for the first time (for both of us)! Wasn't that fantastic in my opinion.

I think their ice cream cake is getting from bad to worse.

And I am officially 1 year older.

I wanna stay Forever 21! Luckily for me, most people still think I am 18. Hee. I love looking young! At least it's better than looking older than your actual age! Ha.

Nie Sweeties

I never thought I could find such good friends in Nie. I was never a friendly person to start with and I take some time to warm up and open up to friends. Some may say I look aloof and cocky (lol) at first sight, but I think I am actually a shy person though I seem confident at times.

So, I am thankful that I actually found my sweeties in Nie. They make life less mundane and make me look forward to school! I heart our last minute study sessions at 12am, cam-whoring sessions, dinner sessions, ktv session, h2h (lol) talk, first midnight movie (we cried buckets!), supper sessions etc.

When are we gonna do the overnight MJ? Lol. Been talking about it for ages! But first, we have to get a MJ set and table into Hunnie's & Shan's room. Ha. Oh yes, not forgetting clubbing sessions and we are gonna have a PJ party (pre-christmas celebration) at Sentosa..

We are so gonna mould the future. Lol.

Yey! I am finally the baby of the group! HAHA.

Forever 21 - A night to remember

Pardon me for the lack of updates as I have been sick since last Monday.

Anyhow, I should get started on the second part of my birthday celebration before I forget about it! Lol.

Guests started pouring in at eight-ish.

Cake cutting was supposed to be at 9.30 pm but I guess I lost track of time, and was postponed to an hour later. ZOMG. lol.

My secondary girls without Regina as she had a test last minute.

My pretty cake which cost $70+ per kg. And the 21 tall candles which cost us about $15.

I feel blessed with all my friends around. A pity bff and lotte weren't around.

I think I was very lucky cos I had 4 versions of the birthday song. Ha.

English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.

Malaysians rock! LOL.

Boyfriend insisted for me to open up some presents. I wonder why. Anyway, my secondary school girls bought me kate spade wristlet!

These two white boxes were brought in to the chalet by boyfriend's brother. And he (bf's brother) kept telling me it was a surprise from him. I was damn scare la. Cause one wouldn't associate surprise with his brother. Haha.

So I opened up, and guess what? The 'missing' balloons which I were complaining to bf the night before were inside! LOL. No wonder he was nonchalent about it!

I wasn't expecting them (blue nose friends)! Anyhow all these were bought by boyfriend, but he didn't want to let me know he bought some other stuff, so he pleaded his brother to tell me that lie. Apparently, from what I heard, they rehearsed it through many times! LOL.

I didn't request for blue nose friends. It was just some random day where we happened to past by this shop selling blue nose friends. And I was commenting how cute it was. Then, back at home, I went online to surf for them and realised they are friends of tatty. Apparently they are called 'blue nose friends' because their noses were blue. DUH. 

So boyfriend decided to keep me in the dark and bought me all of them!! The next time he buys me any more, I swear I will throw them away!!! LOL. But it's the effort that counts, so good job boyfriend! BTW, one soft toy costs about 40 bucks. And there were like 7 of them. Gosh. I rather I have that in cash! Lol.

Boyfriend painstakingly drew out all of their birth certificates. HEE. 

Then, there was the book of lies which in my opinion is the best present!

Boyfriend started on this secret mission months ago even before Bff flew to Aussie. He went to look for my friends alone and got them to write their wishes on this book of lies for me. Boyfriend named it 'Book of Lies' cos he kept me in the dark and none of my friends told me bout that too! BAH. I was really really very touched.

And I can't believe he got all the numbers of my friends! SCARY. Thanks darling for putting in so much effort. I appreciate it loads.

Big tatty from boyfriend's NUS friends. I am very glad boyfriend got to know them cos they are really really very nice people. And jie meis! A pity Jessica and Joe Ann left early. And we're still waiting for Jaime to come back! Jie meis was formed 4 years ago while we were studying at Ngee Ann Poly which was one of the best times of my life! I still miss poly days, especially eating instant noodles and drinking bubble tea in the library. Hee.

Me and boyfriend again. Boyfriend bought a Tiff and Co for me! My very first Tiff and Co! Hee. Hugs. I am not a necklace or accessory person. But I promise I will wear both my Chanel and Tiff necklace from boyfriend more!

Guests started leaving at 1-ish and phew, I finally had time to rest! HAHA.

Jasper came after everyone left, empty handed! LOL. He still owe me a GOOD dinner! LOL.

Finally, MJ at 2 am.

Time for PJ party! Haha. Only special guests were allowed to stay. Haha. Kidding.

Anyhow, that probably sums up my 21st birthday celebration. It was probably one of my happiest days.

Forever 21 - A balloon affair

Where exactly should I start? Lol.

The night before (17 sept) my birthday party, Boyfriend checked in the chalet on my behalf and did some spring cleaning. Came to pick me up from school in the evening.

I was pretty excited cos NSRCC's my favourite chalet of all times! Hee. It was my third time there and it just reminds me of my secondary school days where we had the tradition of holding our end-of-year chalet there. Two bungalows some more! 

Tried to do a little of my assignment but failed terribly. I should have known. Did the supper with boyfriend and  his two friends at Changi road before going back to the chalet to do some preparation.

Ok, more of boyfriend and his two friends working and me just doing my assignment. Ha.

Balloons! These are not ordinary balloons! They are pink and purple! Both my favourite colours. His two friends were very nice to help out and took on different roles. One was in charge of pumping the balloons and the other was in charge of tying them. Kudos. Hee.

Apparantly, I have an individual assignment worth 45% after my birthday! Great.

When I first stepped into the chalet, this banner greeted me. And guess what? It was painstakingly (lol) done by BFF! I am so touched! Haha. Boyfriend has been secretly keeping in touch with her without my knowledge before she left for Aussie! Lol. Totally rock my socks. This banner totally fit my birthday theme - black & white! Love it loads! Thanks bff!

Fooling around with balloons.

I wouldn't mind if I get drown in a sea of balloons. Lol. Anyhow, it took us approximately one hour to finish up with 100 balloons. I was a little bored and ended up counting the balloons one by one to make sure it adds up to 100. Lol. Apparently, it didn't. There was a shortage of 6 and I complained to boyfriend. He seemed to be nonchalant about that though. Tsk.

The whole living room was decorated by then (nearly 2 am) and we decided to play MJ! Lol. What an unearthly timing! One round of MJ ended at 4 am and we went to sleep. Did I mention we have to wake up early the next day at 930 cos I have a one-hour tutorial?

wth.

I couldn't skip cos apparently at nie, they would issue a warning letter to you straight after you missed one lesson without a valid reason - which would go into your port folio after you graduate. (Seriously, why am I even bothering to explain it here? Roll eyes at myself.)

The next morning.

Woke up to get ready for school and boyfriend's friends went back to work/home as well. It started raining heavily on our way back to school.

Anyhow, after school ended at 12.30 pm, went to pick Angela up before doing some last minute errands together - collection of cake and meeting up with li wen cos she had to pass pressies from Bff and Ivon to me, flown all the way from Aussie. Ha.

It was four when the three of us (me, Angela and Bf) reached back at NSRCC.

Totally exhausted.

Then, my bouquet of red roses came. Red roses are love. Hee.

Isn't the bouquet of flowers pretty? My boy has good taste! LOL. I was never a flower person. In fact, to me, flowers are a waste of money. But well, there's always an exception. Ha.

More balloons! It's a balloon affair!

Me and Angela playing with the balloons! The advantage of coming early - we could do stupid stuff and nobody can judge us! HAHA. The helium balloons were expensive, a dollar each, so we should make good use of it! I even thought of bringing them over to Jess's party the next day, if they are still floating! LOL.

Angela and I were still thinking of what forfeits to carry out for those who did not adhere to the dresscode. Ha. Many ideas also no use! I was pretty surprised everyone came in the stipulated colour theme. Ha.

Really pretty decorated chalet. All thanks to boyfriend and his friends.

Caterer came at sixish. I was a little disappointed cos the portion was quite little and at the back of my head, I was thinking of back up plans. Lol. It was my first time catering and I catered exactly for the number of guests that were coming! It was pretty expensive as well. Spent 600 on catering. In my opinion, not worth for the amount of food. Lol.

I brought two different dresses cos I didn't know which to wear. Lol. Settled for this cos the other was more formal! Lol. Plus, it was a dress from F21 and given by boyfriend! Hee.

Anyhow, guests starting flowing in at sixish. Those who came on time were Keith, Luther, Angela, Ai Ching, Fair yii and Li Rong (fy's girlfriend). Thanks for being punctual. I really appreciate it loads.

The rest?

All I can say is - Singaporeans are bad at being punctual!!!!!!!!

LOL. (kidding)

Nah, those who were not on time were either still busy at work or in school. Busy people. Lol.

Gosh, it's two in the morning and I am not done yet! Anyhow, I shall continue with part II soon!

I finally could make time for shopping ever since school started six weeks ago.  

I like shopping with Mag cos both of us have similar taste in clothes and shoes! Lol. We both bought the same dress in blue at F21 and heels at C&K today!

A pity we still have to alter the dress though. Size S is kind of big for us! Lol.

Anyhow, I should seriously stop procrastinating and get started on my birthday post soon!

On a side note: Happy 22nd Birthday, Angelaaaaaaa.
